ABOUT ME
Here’s a little Q&A-style peek into how this all started, what’s shaped me along the way, and why I care so much about helping people show up online in a way that feels true to who they are. Because it’s not just about posting; it’s about sharing something meaningful, building connection, and creating with purpose + joy!
What made you want to start this business?
I didn’t realize how important community was until I moved away from mine. When I got married and we moved across the bridge to the East Bay, I found myself longing for connection in a whole new place. So I did what most of us do these days: I turned to social media. I joined local Facebook groups, followed local businesses on social that my husband and I love to visit, and eventually we found ourselves growing roots. I signed up for a barre studio where I’ve been working out for the past two years, and I met amazing people I now hang out with occasionally outside of class! When I became a mom, I joined a local Facebook group and connected with other moms raising daughters the same age as mine. We had meet ups, celebrate birthdays, and still cheer each other on — both online and in real life. Even though we still drive back to Daly City every Sunday to serve at our church, this place has become our home. Looking back, I think this love for community was always in me. I worked at Starbucks all through college, and what I loved most (other than making drinks) was the regulars. The ones who came in every day with the same order, who remembered my name and asked how things were going. The ones who'd bring us food and treats every now and then. One of them even brought me flowers on my last day lol I’ll never forget that. I also just LOVE being social media. I love sharing little glimpses of my life for my friends and family, and I love to see their updates too! Social keeps us all connected, even though the space of time and distance grows. All of this is why I started my business! To help dreamers, small business owners, and creatives show up online in a way that builds real connection. Because when people feel seen, they stick around. And that’s how community grows.
What were you doing before this, and how has it shaped your approach?
My first job out of college was in 2019, when I joined Aveo Vision (a D2C contact lens subscription startup) as a Social Media Coordinator. I worked directly under the CEO alongside an external marketing team, and within a year, I was given the opportunity to fully manage the brand’s social media: strategy, content creation, community management. Everything. I didn’t just learn the ins and outs of running a brand account; I also learned how to find confidence in my ideas and grow into my role. Unfortunately, the business was deeply impacted by the pandemic and had to close. But the experience of working so closely with the CEO taught me so much; not just about social media, but about how a business operates from the inside out. In 2022, I joined KURIEO, a marketing agency that’s partnered with major brands like Starbucks, Nike, and the Golden State Warriors. As their Social Media Manager, I ran three accounts: one B2C client account (MibeTec’s Bite Away), and two in-house brands — KURIEO and Doing Everything Different, a podcast brought by KURIEO to highlight the journey to achieving a goal. I also contributed to wider marketing efforts like influencer campaigns, seeding kit strategy, and content production. Three years later, I was laid off. Again. And while that was tough, it gave me the pause I didn’t know I needed. I took time to reflect, to grieve, and then... to get creative again. I started pouring into the passion projects I had long put on hold: - managing social media for my church, Crossroads Christian Center - helping my husband organize and grow his wedding videography business - picking up (casual) photography again - filming and editing little everyday moments with our two-year-old daughter That reset gave me clarity. It reminded me what I loved most about social media: the storytelling, the connection, the creativity. And slowly, I found myself moving toward something I had always considered but never had the courage to fully step into. Now, here I am. Building something of my own. I’ve learned so much along the way and I’ve worked with some incredibly, out-of-this-worldly talented people. I’m still figuring things out (and yes, still a little scared!), but I’m also SO excited for this next chapter and the amazing people I’ll get to partner with along the way.
What parts of your work excite you the most?
I love seeing growth after I start managing an account. Watching the numbers move, yes, but more than that, seeing the content I dream up actually resonate with people. When posts get shared, when conversations start happening in the comments, when engagement goes up. It’s like, wow, this brand is building a real digital community. And I got to help make that happen! I also love the relationships that form through collaboration. When you’re brainstorming, sharing ideas, and building something together, there’s this creative synergy that happens. You inspire each other, challenge each other, and grow together. That kind of creative spark is contagious. It spreads like wildfire and spills over into every part of the process!
What do you want people to feel when they work with you?
When people work with me, I want them to feel seen, supported, and more in love with what they do. I want them to feel hopeful and confident in their vision. Most of all, I want them to know they can actually do the thing they’ve been dreaming about (tbh, same). I’m here to help you dream big, keep it fun, and make magic happen! All without the stress or doing it solo 😊
What’s one fun or unexpected fact about you?
In this season of always being inspired by my daughter, I love to play like a kid 😆 Playgrounds, obstacle courses, pretend games, the whole shabang. Basically, all the stuff adults tend to think is kinda lame as they grow up. And I’m totally that person who still gets hyped for board games!
What do you believe about content, strategy, or showing up online?
Having an online presence is essential because that’s exactly where people are these days. Your online space is like your digital front door; a place where people can learn about who you are, what you offer, and who you’re serving. People come to social media for three main things: information, connection, and entertainment. When businesses tap into all three, they become relatable, approachable, and memorable. And yes, you can totally do that and still be professional! I’m a big believer in content documentation — it’s way less overwhelming when you realize you’re just capturing what’s already happening. The kind of content that truly resonates is authentic, genuine, real-life moments. Polished, pretty content is nice for an accent, but it shouldn’t be all you share. People want to see the humans behind the brands, the real stories, the everyday life. Social media is magic because it brings people and brands together in real, human ways. Your audience wants to see you behind the scenes, not just your logo or your sales pitch. Plus, it’s a powerful way to listen to what they want, what they need, and tweak your stuff to fit just right. For small and local businesses especially, social media is a golden opportunity to grow within your community. When you show up consistently, acknowledge your audience, and make them feel seen, you create real connection. Plus, it’s a fun place to experiment and let your business’s unique personality shine!
What do you love most about working with small businesses or creatives?
What I love most about working with small businesses and creatives is getting to collaborate one-on-one with the actual founders, aka the people who really know the heart behind it all. Hearing the story of how their business started? That seriously tickles my brain and gives me the feels lol. Everyone’s journey is totally unique, but there’s always something inspiring and motivating in those stories that connects us all. I’m all about working with people who have strong values and a mission that means something deep. When you can tell there’s a solid foundation beneath the surface, the social media and content just flow naturally. It’s like capturing the overflow of all that passion and purpose already there ❤️🔥
How does your service make your clients’ lives easier?
I’ll be your biggest supporter and cheerleader, always paying attention to the little things so nothing slips through the cracks! I love staying organized and having a system that keeps everything running smoothly. My goal is to take the weight of showing up on social media off your shoulders, so you can focus on what you love to do the most. Because I get how important it is to show up consistently, you can trust that I’ll show up for you and root for you every step of the way!
What’s your vibe or process like when working with clients?
My vibe when working with clients is super chill and casual. Think of me as a friend helping a friend! You can trust that I know what I’m doing, but we’ll also be learning and experimenting together, which is honestly the fun part. Social media changes so fast, but if you’re ready to show up consistently and try new things, I’m confident we’ll see growth for your business that goes way beyond just sales and revenue.
How has your faith or personal journey shaped your business values?
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the grace and love of Jesus and the support of my church family. At its core, this business is about loving and serving others well 💛 I believe my creativity, talent, and passion all come straight from God, the ultimate source of strength and inspiration. Doing this work feels like a way to worship Him with what I’ve been given... using my gifts to help others grow and thrive. One verse that always stays with me is Ephesians 2:10; how we’re God’s workmanship, created for good works He prepared in advance for us. I like to think of my life (and this business) as part of a bigger tapestry He’s weaving. Each project, each client, each story just another thread in something He’s creating for good. And humility is a big part of that. I’m proud of the work I create and the impact it makes, but at the end of the day, all the credit goes back to God. I know I couldn’t do any of this without Him! 🙏
